Not many people are aware that Iceland is a destination for divers, but it is and here’s why: It boasts some of the clearest waters on the planet and it’s the only place in the world where you can snorkel or dive directly between two tectonic plates. There are also deep, expansive canyons and unexplored cave systems. The only downside is there isn’t much marine life.

These Caribbean islands are a diving hot-spot because of the vibrant coral reef systems, colorful fish and accessible wrecks. The Saba Marine Park has more than thirty moored dive sites and deep-water pinnacles, and the Bonaire National Marine Park has around 470 species of fish and the renowned Hilma Hooker wreck to explore.
